Today we are launching a Spanish website. It is now possible for our Spanish customers and partners to keep up with the development of SkabelonDesign in Spanish.

SkabelonDesign lands global deal with Det Norske Veritas (DNV)

SkabelonDesign has signed an agreement with DNV for the installation of PresentationEngine for PowerPoint with about 9,000 employees in 100 countries.

DNV expects to increase its efficiency through the new PowerPoint system in the following areas: improve sharing of best practices PowerPoint materials between Corporate and the many business areas and units, and facilitate administration and distribution of updates to all users of the system. PresentationEngine for PowerPoint has strong functionalities that will assist DNV to meet their rigorous requirements for creating presentations that adhere to DNV's corporate design guidelines.

Det Norske Veritas (DNV) is a global provider of services for managing risk. DNV comprises 300 offices in 100 countries, with about 9,000 employees.

Rambøll has 8,200 employees on 182 locations around the world, who daily write several of documents in Word such as letters, fax, memorandum, labels, press releases, reports etc. These documents should all reflect Rambøll’s new visual identity. Besides that Rambøll also needs a similar solution for PowerPoint, which can ensure that their visual identity is re-flected in all presentations prepared in PowerPoint.

Our template tool WordEngine, will allow each single employee to be able to access Ram-bøll’s templates from one access point in the menu bar in Word. All documents, which an employee prepares in Word, will be tailored to each employee’s profile in regards to name, title, address, department, business area, language etc. in Microsoft Office, versions 2003 and 2007.

Our template tool PresentationEngine will allow employees to be able to access Rambøll’s standard templates from one access point in the menu bar in PowerPoint. From this access point employees will be able to prepare a presentation and be able to delete/insert slides from other standard presentations. All presentations will have a consistent look and feel, which follows Rambøll’s brand guidelines.

Furthermore, the total solution provides Rambøll Corporate Communication with the possibil-ity to add and maintain content, which the employees can access across the organisation. Rambøll’s Corporate Identity is developed by the design agency Kontrapunkt, which is one of SkabelonDesign’s co-operation partners.

The newest release of PresentationEngine for Powerpoint (version 2.10.18) offers a unique feature which means that you are no longer limited to a certain amount of text in relation to the footer and date text boxes on your PowerPoint master template. This feature provides marketing and communication professionals with the possibility to offer the user organisation  a number of preformatted text boxes which can be applied on the master template.

How it works? - The users can enter the presentation specific data in a simple input box when the template is opened and the text is then automatically placed on all relevant slides and configured according to the customised design.

The functionality is generic but very flexible and can be applied to all kind of text box content according to the needs of the specific organisation.

Our solution PresentationEngine for PowerPoint is now certified by Microsoft.

In Q1 2008 SkabelonDesign enters into development partnerships with a group of Denmarks' largest companies.

The aim of these partnerships are to develop solutions for MIcrosoft Excel. The solutions are to focus on increased efficiency, reducing time spent on Excel, make complex functions more usable and streamline output from Excel to be used in the communication of an organisation.

The partnership will also focus on developing relevant tools to formating numbers, graphs, tables as well as data retrieval and presentations of numbers and figures. There are two way of becoming a partner either a Gold partnership or a Silver partnership.

SkabelonDesign participated on Microsofts stand at Microsoft Tech Days in Paris.

This event is part of our marketing efforts to create awareness about SkabelonDesign and our solutions on the French market. At this event our main focus was on our solution to Microsoft PowerPoint "SD PresentationEngine". The exhibition was well visited and we meet with several relevant stakeholders.

In collaboration with the design agency 1508 SkabelonDesign has been chosen to implement the new corporate identity of The Municipality of Abertslund.

This implies template development for folders and brochures to be used in communicating with its citizens as well as Word templates developed in SkabelonDesign’s solution SD WordEngine to all employees in the Municipality. With this solution all employees at the Municipality of Albertslund will be able to communicate in a consistent and professional way.

The Technical University of Denmark has chosen SkabelonDesign to develop templates in co-operation with the design agency IdentityPeople.

The identities and sub identities of the various institutes are being implemented for the moment. The scope of the project  is to create a unified solution which can be used by all institutes and their individual sub identities such as name, address, phone number etc. SkabelonDesign's solution SD WordEngine is going to handle these challenges and ensure that all institutes can communicate in a consistent and professional manner in the future.

All employees at the Technical University of Denmark will be able to use this new solution as well as all the affiliates.

SkabelonDesign participates on the exhibition Microsoft Tech Days 2008 in Paris. SkabelonDesign will be at Microsoft's stand on 12 February.

The latest version of the SD DesignToolbarTM for PowerPoint (ver. 2.5) is lanched.

Version 2.5 consists of a number of new features, including:

- A function to add rounded corners to pictures
- A function to compress all pictures in a presentation
- A function to convert old presentations to the new visual identity of the company
- A function to import numbers from MS Excel
- Various additions to existing functions

FCG Finnish Consulting Group, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland is launching SD PresentationEngine (SDPE) for PowerPoint as part of a new corporate identity and declared goal to focus increasingly on their brand. Lahtinen & Mantere Saatchi & Saatchi, Finland is heading the design process and has appreciated the many new design options that SDPE enables in PowerPoint. The close co-operation between SkabelonDesign and Saatchi is ultimately benefiting FCG that will now be able to create more sophisticated presentations by using the tool (onto which SkabelonDesign has implemented the design created by Saatchi).

Elecnor, a leading Spanish group in the field of integrated project management and development of investment projects has chosen SkabelonDesign’s products to support implementation of the group’s visual identity. Integrating SD PresentationEngine and SD WordEngine in their daily work with PowerPoint and Word, Elecnor’s 6000 employees will be able to work not only more efficiently with PowerPoint and Word, but also apply the group’s visual identity consistently across the entire organisation. Software roll-out is scheduled for June 2007.

The international medico company - Radiometer Medical has selected SkabelonDesign, as partner in optimizing the work with PowerPoint. SkabelonDesign has in cooperation with Radiometer Medical developed SD Slideshopper - a dynamic tool that provides the user - easy and quick, to find and use Best Practise PowerPoint slides.

The SD Slideshopper component will be a part of the SD PresentationEngine.

The Spanish outlet of the international accounting company Deloitte, has selected SD PresentationEngine, as the tool to ensure efficiency and brand-compliance in the work with PowerPoint. The Spanish division of Deloitte accounts for 3,100 employees, which soon will make use of the tools in the SD PresentationEngine. The work of implementation is in collaboration with the Spanish distributor of SkabelonDesign - CMG.

The launching of the SD PresentationEngine with Deloitte Spain, will be expected in the middle of April 2007.

The Spanish fueling corp. - Repsol - has chosen the SD PresentationEngine, as the tool to ensure efficiency and brand-compliance in the work with PowerPoint. The work of implementation is in collaboration with the Spanish distributor of SkabelonDesign - CMG.

The launching of the SD PresentationEngine with Repsol, will be expected in the middle of May 2007.

We would like to welcome Jane Ørnebjerg Andersen, who has been appointed as Project Consultant, with focus on implementing company identities in particular SD DesignToolbar™ for PowerPoint and developing templates primarily in Word and PowerPoint. Jane is Graphical Designer and is also given internal tasks of PR and marketing materials. Jane has previously worked for 4 years at IMS Learning A/S with tasks of producing graphic material and project planning (for Powerpoint and Web).

SkabelonDesign has now opened a regional sales office in Sevenoaks just off the M25 ring road around London in order to get closer to its UK customer base. A series of workshops as well as meetings with potential partners and customers have taken place during summer and autumn 2006 and the response from the participants has been extremely positive. The awareness of SkabelonDesign and its unique product portfolio is increasing day for day and the interest has already materialised in the first UK specific projects which have been implemented during November 2006.

Coloplast, a leading medical device company has chosen SkabelonDesign to implement their new visual identity, developed by Kontrapunkt. SkabelonDesign has been assigned to develop on a global scale a number of Coloplast templates for Word and Excel and to customise these for country-specific purposes. SkabelonDesign will also take part in the distribution of templates. Likewise, Coloplast is implementing SD DesignToolbar™ for PowerPoint across their entire organisation, destined at managing and streamlining the visual “look and feel” of PowerPoint presentations. Implementation will take place in October and November in cooperation with Coloplast Corporate Communications Department.

On August 1 SkabelonDesign moved to new and bigger facilities in Copenhagen (Refshaleøen), giving room for further expansion. Our office is designed by Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter, one of the most innovative architect firms in Denmark. We are located right at the port of Copenhagen and from our rooftop terrace we are enjoying the view of most of Copenhagen.

Danisco was facing a major challenge to ensure consistent use of their visual identity in PowerPoint – based on directives from the Danish headquarters and employed worldwide. To meet this challenge, Danisco has chosen SD DesignToolbar™ for PowerPoint from SkabelonDesign and worldwide implementation is about to begin.

SkabelonDesign has opened a subsidiary in Atlanta, Georgia, US in April 2006. During the end of March – beginning of April, Paulo Ramirez, Regional Manager, Christian Lund-Sørensen, Partner and Jeppe Schytte-Hansen, Partner went on a successful business trip. They met with potential customers and business partners in Atlanta, Boston and New York.

In addition to business activities in Spain, Finland, England and France, SkabelonDesign has now begun export to the US, primarily in Atlanta and New York. Our new agent in New York is responsible for the New York and New Jersey areas. Moreover, in Atlanta, SkabelonDesign has established close ties with the Trade Counsel of Denmark as well as with Georgia Economic Development, the latter primarily concerning activities in the State of Georgia.

On February 1, 2006, SkabelonDesign has employed Mr. Paulo Ramirez as Regional Manager, responsible for sales and partnerships in Spain, USA and Hispanic countries. Paulo holds a degree in Business Administration and International Business from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain. Paulo has previously worked as Marketing Director for Leitech Instruments, carrying the responsibility for market expansion into European, South American and Asian countries.

On March 1, 2006, SkabelonDesign has employed Ms. Birgitte Bjerregaard as Regional Manager, responsible for sales and partnerships in Nordic and French-speaking countries. Birgitte holds a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration (International Business) from CBS, Denmark, and a Masters degree in International Management from HEC, Paris, France. Previously Birgitte worked as a Business Analyst with Nokia Corp. in Helsinki, Finland, focusing on business concept development for new ventures in the context of emerging technologies and market trends.
